NAVAJO NATION PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CARRIE LYNN MARTIN MAKES THE FOLLOWING SPEAKING: Good Morning, First of all, safe travels to all the candidates traveling to the last Primary Election Presidential forum sponsored by KTNN - Red Rock Auditorium, Church Rock, at 6 PM rez time. Now, I would like to comment on my Primary Election Presidential campaign. I dont have representatives nor at any time did I designate representatives for my campaign. I manage my own campaign. I take care of my own financials. I manage my own time and budget. I USE MY OWN MONEY. Its just me. I represent myself, I am my own person. Why I chose to campaign alone: My family and friends have their own lives. I respect their lives and priorities. I care for their safety and only want good things for them. My family that have chosen to support me, I am grateful for their support. They do not represent me nor speak for me. Again, I am my own person: heavenly gifts of life such as my heart, mind, body, and spirit were made for me to become the best Carrie and daughter of God I can be in this world. I dont trust people in politics or politicians. I dont appreciate Window Rocks corrupt government mentality and environment. I am a firm believer of green initiatives - environmentally friendly. Campaigning creates lots of trash and unnecessary spending of hundred thousands of dollars. Clean election is needed. I despise the hundred thousands of dollars career politicians spend on campaigning. Campaign monies could pay for several homes and education, feed the people, start up business investments for the people, help our programs, etc. So, you see, I am doing my best with the time and money I have. I have a full-time job, as well. I am thankful for my family members that have helped me. Some family members have donated their time and money to help with my travel expenses. My aunt and her son helped me with photos, fb banners, website, and slogan. My mom helps me drive, takes photos and records my speeches. Now, those who support me (this includes my family and friends), they express their opinions, thoughts, comments at their own free will. Its called freedom of speech. They too are their own person, as you are. Please judge me for what I have done, my actions; do not judge me by the actions of others. So far, I have kept my patience while in the presence of many of our corrupt leaders (from top to bottom) and many of our own people during meetings, conferences and forums. Yes, we need a person that can stand up against the sharks that plague our great nation, but its not just that one person (leader), we need a majority of the people to stand with that one person (leader) to fight against negativity, greed, corruption and unethical business practices I hope you have a greater understanding of who I am and why I chose to manage my own campaign.
