NBB question from Michelle: Just wanted to ask if there are any mummies out there who have had a vaginal birth after having a 3rd or 4th degree tear? I am 25wks with my 2nd, I have spoken to midwives, drs and specialists who just say Its your choice so I still feel like I cant make an informed decision on whether to opt for caesarean (which I really dont want to but I also dont want to ruin my body -incontinence, etc.) The specialist told me that it is rare for women to go vaginal after 3rd or 4th degree tear, which surprised me in a way. I get so anxious and upset reading or thinking about it 😞 Any advice or experiences shared would be muchly appreciated.
