NBC NIGHTLY NEWS was a stepping stone for the next generation for supporters for Route 66. Where at times, the Route 66 communities/people can lose sight in the entire purpose of our mission. I felt privileged to be able to showcase our beloved Route 66 to the nation. We filmed 20 hours for 2 minutes & over a two week process I reached out to Jim Hinckley , Nick Gerlich , Jerry Mcclanahan , Joe Sonderman, El Trovatore Motel (Sam & Monica), Lynne Miller , Rich Dinkela , Rich Barron & many many more to help with this segment. There is not an I in Route 66. Please share an spread the word, Route 66 Unite!
