NBC has ditched its plan to bring Bill Cosby back to primetime after three women slammed the comedian with serious rape accusations. The network was set to launch a new sitcom starring the 77-year-old in 2015, but halted those plans Wednesday, network officials confirmed. An NBC spokeswoman said Wednesday the project “is no longer under development,” and had no further comment. The decision came a day after Netflix announced it was postponing a stand-up comedy special featuring Cosby. TV Land also pulled reruns of the Cosby Show from its network. Three women have publicly accused Cosby of assault after comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby a rapist during a stand-up gig in Philadelphia last month. In the tape above, Bill and his wife sat down with AP for an interview and of course they asked about the rape allegations. Bill replied with no comment and asked them not to show the footage but of course - in the name of views and ratings - they showed it anyway. #BillCosby #TheCosbyShow
