NBI raids Iloilo call center over alleged use of unauthorized software August 14, 2014 12:48pm National Bureau of Investigation agents raided a call center in Iloilo City after receiving a tip the establishment allegedly used unauthorized software. The agents said Comtech Universal Philippines had been accused of using the software of call center Avatar Technologies Inc. without permission, GMA Iloilos Jason Gregorio reported. Some 30 call center agents were using the supposedly unauthorized software when the raid occurred at the building at Iznart Street. Investigation showed the software in question was registered to three employees of Comtech. The three were reportedly former workers at Avatar.
