NCC is excited to announce our support of continuing education for youth in sponsoring (6) $1,000 scholarships available to graduating high school seniors and students in post secondary institutions. Additionally, NCC is participating in two national scholarship programs. Apply for both of them with one application. The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) will award (30) $2,500 scholarships to rural high school seniors. This scholarship is not based on GPA, rather, it is geared toward seniors who are good, solid students, but may not qualify for other programs based solely upon GPA. Some preference may be given to individuals expressing interest to return to work in a rural area following graduation. JSI, a consultant for NCC, will award (4) $5,000 scholarships to rural high school seniors. Students with a focus in the science, math, or engineering fields will automatically be considered for these scholarships. Applications for the scholarships may be obtained from a school guidance counselor, the NCC office in Ray, or by downloading them from our website at nccray/about-us/scholarships/
