NCCPD Investigates Strong Arm Robbery Community of Wilton New Castle County Police are presently investigating a strong arm robbery involving 38 year old New Castle man who was accosted by an unknown male subject yesterday afternoon while in the Wilton area. (New Castle) On Thursday (08/15) afternoon at 1:32 p.m., County Police responded to the 100 block of Wilton Boulevard for a reported robbery. When officers arrived, the victim indicated that he was approached by an unknown male subject who took his property. The investigation revealed the victim was waiting for the bus when he was approached by a male subject. Moments later, the suspect forcefully took property from the victim and fled on foot in the direction of a nearby apartment complex. Assisting officers and a canine team responded and canvassed the area, but they were unsuccessful in their efforts in locating the suspect. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a large build, short hair, facial hair, who was wearing a bright colored shirt, khaki pants and shoes.
