NDE (Near Death Experience) represents one of the projects involving world renowned experimental sound-artist and performer Slavek Kwi. Of Czech origin, Slavek emigrated from his country of birth in 1986 due to the oppressive communist regime. Slavek lived in Belgium for fourteen years before settling in Ireland. Project NDE was formed in the late 80ties together with Honza – Sculpteur Des Sons; they were later joined by singer Claire Blach. The Change you Mind LP offers selected fragments from NDEs live performances in Liège, Belgium, between 1991-1992. The LP proves, among the other things, how wide and rich the genre of industrial music can be. Rather than dark industrial soundscapes, you may expect sound artifacts consisting of collages of human voices and conversations, obscure rhythmic patterns, incidental sounds of horns and subtle electronic sounds mixed together with the strong presence of Slaveks modified electric guitar (so called tritar). The album was originally self released by members of NDE in Belgium as a cassette tape in the year of 1992. The CS Industrial is now offering you the release, for the first time ever, also in MP3 and FLAC file formats. Even 22 years after its original release, the record still maintains its freshness and complexity which proves the fact that good music never grows old. csindustrial1982-2010.bandcamp/album/change-your-mind
