NDT Level I(SAUDI ONLY) ArcelorMittal Jubail, Saudi Arabia Ref: NP719-07 ArcelorMittal The Role Job Purpose An active member of the Quality Department responsible to ensure NDT operations are meeting specifications, work instructions , procedures & norms. Perimeter of influence or Scope (sector, unit, plant, department, turn-over, tons, etc.) Explain briefly ArcelorMittal Jubail is setting-up a seamless pipe plant in Jubail (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). The capacity will be 600 000 tons per year. Plant facility will have three online fully automatic NDT machines & also finishing facilities will be equipped with 8 units of end NDT machines. Also most of the material produced will be inspected by Third Party. Main Accountabilities Focuses on online NDT ( UT + LF ) machines and also end MPI & end UT machines. NDT operations of the machine are performed as per the applicable specification, work instruction , procedures & norms. • To operate online NDT ( UT + LF ) machines or end area NDT ( UT & MPI ) machines. • To assist NDT level II inspector in calibration, size change, maintenance of NDT ( Online as well as end NDT ) machines & help in routine jobs to be performed like up keeping of samples, records etc. • To ensure identification traceability of material. • To ensure all required standard samples are prepared & available for calibration of the machine. • Material handling to ensure proper flow of material on NDT machines. • To supervise job workers to ensure proper salvaging of material. Requirements Science graduate with ASNT Level-I UT or MT/EMI OR UT + MT/EMI Should have worked as NDT Level-I ( UT & MT/EMI) for minimum 7 to 8 years in the tube industry. Should be familiar with tube inspection.
