NEDUNERI KRISHNAMURTHY - CLASSICISM AT ITS BEST -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just read that Nedunerigaru is no more.He is one of the pillars of carnatic music.His music is pure as a crystal. Classicism at its best.Nobody sang better songs with clear diction and shruthi sudham as he did.Just listening to him would enhance your knowledge. He was great proponent of Thygraja and Annamacharya Kirthis.I had the privilege of a teletalk from his friends residence at USA with him in VIYAYAWADA/VIZAG.I recalled some of his concerts I had collected recordings of and had a detailed discussion on some of the items there.He was delighted to speak to one of his rasikas and asked me to see him in India if possible.That was not to be.His legacy will continue through his disciples : MALLADI brothers.I cherish his memories and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
