NEED A FAVOR FROM NYC PEEPS - does anyone have A LOT of experience renting your place out on AirBNB? Id love to talk to you about some of your metrics -- how often you rent it out, what you charge, your process, etc. Ive read just about every article published on the subject, I just want to talk directly to someone who has done this. GOAL: Ive decided I want to get an apartment in NYC. However, paying a rent for a place I dont live in full time is obviously silly. Obviously my goal would be to amortize the cost by putting the place on AirBNB. I have no desire to make money on the project -- Im just looking to make it manageable, and as close to breakeven as possible. If you put your place on AirBNB with any level of frequency, please let me know -- I have some questions and would love to compensate you for your time. Thanks!
