NEED HELP....Im trying to find my 65 Mustang Coupe. Bought new in 65 , traded it in 69 . All the paper work is long gone. The dealership I bought it from said they only keep records for 10 years, The insurance company no longer is around. No VIN #. I found a picture of it showing the license number at that time. OHIO 2298 L (1968) Lucas County. THATS ALL I HAVE TO GO ON. Called the Ohio BMV, their records dont go back that far. The Ohio Historical Society too said the same thing. I know, I know, why am I posting this here. First of all, I love my Birds for many years. I have a 02 Evening Black Bird now. Maybe its the 50th anniversary or because I just recently drove a 1965 Coupe. (one of my friends bought one), but something snapped inside me. I got to at least try to find it. My wife thinks Im nuts, most of my friends, probably everybody reading this now too agrees with Michelle. Im open to any suggestions or groups I can contact. If I do find it because of a lead from somebody in this group.....DINNER ON ME...YOUR CHOICE !!
