NEED PRAYERS PLEASE!!!!! Just found out that a couple of our friends were involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday in Athens. David and Nadine Silcox . As it was explained to me they were in Athens on Prince Ave near the Marathon and Country Club. They were in the right hand lane and a vehicle was in the left hand lane next to them. The lady that hit them told that she had screaming children in the back and turned to look at the kids to see what they were doing. While doing this she turned the wheel striking Davids bike on the side. David reacted and the next thing he knew they were both sliding down the road. The other driver did stop and admit to the guilt of causing the accident. They were taken to Athens Regional Medical Center. Nadines still in ICU . Nadine has had one surgery on her leg broken in 2 places one below the knee cap the other above the knee cap she will have to have a second surgery within the next couple of days. She has some swelling and bleeding on the brain but the neurologist said that it is nothing to be concerned about. She has facial fractures and road rash on her face and several cuts on her arms, hands and fingers. David is okay, bruised and scratched up a bit. Please continue to pray! And please pay attention to cars and motorcycles around you.
