NEED YOUR HELP IF YOU LIVE IN ME. This summer a group has been meeting to review cemetery law, prepare suggestions for making things agree, and to make plans for possible changes. This is the general goal - they are more specific. What we need help with is getting back A SURVEY THAT WAS SENT TO EVERY ME TOWN. MMA is part of this group (MOCA, MGS, VA reps and others) and prepared and sent out the survey.The survey is very important. From each town they are asking for information about their cemeteries and funding, etc. Recently I learned that at least 50 surveys have been returned - so they are there with town officials. I have also recently heard that some towns do not intend to return them. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR TOWN OFFICE AND BE SURE SOMEONE WITH THE NECESSARY FACTS COMPLETES AND RETURNS THE SURVEY.
