NEEDS FOREVER HOME: Meet Rocky, a special needs 6 month-old Boxer mix that was rescued from Kentucky. He arrived at Wright-Way Rescues Admissions and Care Center with his mother who was already pregnant with another litter of puppies. Rocky suffers from cerebral hypoplasia, a neurological condition that does not allow control his muscles; this is not a progressive disorder and the amount of control he has now is the amount he will always have. Despite his condition, Rocky is an EXTREMELY happy dog and would make a wonderful companion. He is very outgoing, social, loves other dogs, and friendly. He may not be able to be fully house-trained, so a crate would be recommended in a new home for him. The result? Rocky has an absolutely adorable way of walking that resembles prancing and a bark that sounds like the volume has been turned down. What Rocky needs most is a family that will look past how different he is and see how truly special he really is.
