NETAJI SUBHAS OPEN UNIVERSITY ============================= ☞ wbnsou.ac.in/wbnsou/pdfcontainer1/Registrar_Project_Assistant.04.07.14.pdf Walk-in-Interview for two Project Assistant in School of Sciences A walk-in-interview will be held on 17 July, 2014 at 12 noon in the School of Sciences, NSOU for selection of two Project Assistants for the projects funded by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC under the supervision of Dr. Bibhas Guha, Assistant Professor of Zoology, NSOU. ☞ Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree (with at least 55% marks) in Zoology/Statistics/Economics. ☞ Desirable Qualifications: 1. NET, SET/SLET or GATE 2. Field experience in survey work 3. Experience of Statistical Data analysis using Computer Software ☞ Age: Below 35 years; ☞ Emoluments: As per UGC norms (Rs. 14,000 p.m. for non NET/SET/SLET/GATE and Rs. 16,000 p. m. for NET/SET/SLET/GATE qualified candidates). ☞ Tenure: Six months, may be extended from time to time ☞ Venue: School of Sciences, K-2, Bidhannagar Fire Station, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata-91 * The project assistant should do work full time in the project and get the fellowship from one source only. * Candidates are requested to email their short bio-data as per the pro-forma given below to the PI (E-mail: guha_bibhas@rediffmail) on or before 15th July, 2014 and bring the following items on the date of interview: (i) one set of application; (ii) three sets of self-signed bio-data; (iii) two sets of attested copies of all the testimonials relating with the candidature; (iv) original copies of all testimonials. ☞ Note: No TA/DA is admissible for candidates appearing at the interview.
