NETBALL PREMIERS !!!!! What a massive weekend for out netballers, both A and C grade taking out their respective grand finals. The C grade got the day off in style, going in as the underdogs against the undefeated Devon Meadows line up, the girls showed another never say die performance. The contest was tight throughout before a late surge that saw the girls advance 5 points clear with only a couple of minutes remaining, most thought we were home hosed, but to Devons credit they kept coming and thankfully the siren sounded in time to see is triumph by the closest of margins. A very much pumped up A grade side had a point to prove to the competition, that this side was indent on making up for a shock Grand Final defeat in 2012. They didn’t disappoint right from the outset they took control and by half time the game was sealed with a 20 point lead. Everyone had an impact on the day and it is a credit to the team that was premiers and champions and can now boast 3 titles and 5 grand final appearances. Congrats to all involved a terrific effort.
