NETBALL Schedule in BROOKLYN August 2, 2014 & August 3, 2014 THE APOCALYPTIC weekend is HERE...as top teams JOSTLE for end of PRELIMINARY round SUPREMACY .. The intermittent rainy weather may have played a fiddling havoc to the early Saturday morning proceedings but certainly not to the evenings as the 2014 CANA Summer League preliminary round of games continue in an era stifling with more TOGATRY for higher and lower divisional teams to endure today and tomorrow at the Lincoln Terrace Netball Facility, (the MECCA) of the sport in the US. The heavens may declare the Glory of God, but all his righteousness may not be added unto some of these teams this weekend as a CHORALE of DO or DIE pivotal games hit the Eastern Brooklyn facility starting @5:00 p.m today. The lowly 7th placed Sharecropping Community will face off with 6th placed Antillians in the first 5:00 p.m. A2 encounter. At 5:30 the winless in six outings and bottom placed Senior Division Scorchers Sports Club will face a defiant 7th placed Volcanoes 1 clan who is in no uncertain terms going for a massive win today to boost their position in the TEETHERING and THEATRICAL Senior League Division. Another match of wetting the appetite constraint is the 6:00 p.m. rivalry game encompassing 9th placed A2 Division Rising Eagles 2 & bottom of the table Untouchables 2. At 6:00 the Senior game Flameblazers 1 versus Terminators Tornado may be the latters repast battle for supremacy having lost so miserably (29-35) to an abhorred Untouchables 1 team last week Sunday. The feature A2 7:00 p.m. game between Runner up Upsetters 2 & Volcanoes 2 (lying in 4th place) will no doubt be evenly contested. Last week, A2 Divisional leaders Allyanze Fusion went ADHOC on their zonal nemesis clobbering them (43-28) in a game that saw a spirited first half Upsetters 2 bench becoming as quiet as a library. All in all expect a game where confidence will transform to performance abd vice versa for both teams. A loss for any of these two teams will be a theatrical one, and the chances of both teams advancing to the next round remains tantalizingly poised. Meanwhile, a lethal St. Lucian & Jamaican stew has been brewing all over Brooklyn for the past three weeks. Its the talk on everybodys lips, the Matthias Wilkie coached Senior Division leaderboarders Pitons 1 come face to face with last years Senior League Champions the Derwayne Grant coached Upsetters 1 with JNA prospects Nardia Hanson, Tracy Ann Campbell & Brooklyns own Captain Suezette Jones, Shameana Williams-JanJan, Lavern McKenzie, Tyiesha Bennett, & talk has been going around of Nichala Gibson making a grand entry into this game. Expect Jolene Christopher in GA and Shaina Reynolds in GD to send enduring images to their opponents, ones that will sure endure and sustain their team to the end. As it stands right now the RIBAND event will be a NO SALVATION FLYING ZONE whence both teams meet. Other games of concocted interest on Sunday are the 5:00 encounter Allyanze Fusion/Volcanoes 2, the 5:30 p.m. Upsetters 2 versus Survivors 1, the 6:30 p.m. Flameblazers 2 versus The Fly by Night Rising Eagles 2 team (who have only perched once so far this season) & the Islanders 1versus Untouchables 2 matchup. The Elegant Eagles Administration are off this week and have peskily gone the team bonding route as per SOCIAL MEDIA INVESTIGATIONS...
