NEVER GIVE UP! Today was homecoming at Morning Star Baptist Church where 80 year old Sr. Pastor Samuel Ray delivered the word. The message, Go home with Jesus. Pastor Ray used the parable of the leader of the synagogue whose 12 years old was dying and he needed Jesus to heal her. As jesus, his disciples and the leader traveled, they were encountered by the woman with the blood disease and in healing her they were delayed. Before they could get home, the leader receives word that it was too late, she died. When Jesus arrived, he was met by doubters in the home who laughed at him. He put them all out. Like Jesus had to put the doubters out of the house of the little girl who was declared dead while he was there to heal her, Rev. Ray declared you have to remove the negative people out of your life so that The Lord can have his way. People will come up against you, smear your name and try to distract you but when you are fighting for the right thing, no matter how much folks will say you have lost, you never give up! The word was Powerful, Perfect and Prophetic. Our fight for Baltimore is Never Done. WRITE IN NEVERDON NOVEMBER 4!
