NEVER GO FULL RETARD ! - interesting bit of advice. Im still scratching my head in disbelief how Robert Downie Jnr missed out on an Oscar (US Academy award) for Best Supporting Actor? He plays Kirk Lazarus, an intense broodying Russell Crowe Aussie/NZ like method actor who pretends to be an Afro-American Sergeant Lincoln Osiris in a Vietnam war movie- a comedy send up of the whole genre. He is in effect playing 2 roles. Hilarious... Ben Stillers film is, ostensibly at least, about Hollywood. The point its making about people with learning difficulties is that the movies sanitise their plight. The character Stiller plays is a fading film-star who has himself just portrayed a gibbering, goofy dimwit in a film called Simple Jack. According to a colleague, this has ruined his career.
