NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.... Its been another busy Saturday although we only moved one hound to rescue today but WHAT a hound she is!!! Please meet the adorable Gabby ... here she is when we went to collect her this morning from the pound. There is so much negativity and prejudice against these dogs but, like any dog, they are all individuals and Gabby is no exception. Despite clearly having been seriously used for a considerable length of time before turning up stray and unwanted, Gabby is the sweetest, most quiet, unassuming, and gentle girl one could wish to meet. She adores people and any kindness they show her, and has not been interested in any of the dogs she has met so far. We are just so relieved that she has been given the chance of the life that every dog deserves thanks to GRWE and have everything crossed that once shes ready there will be a true dog lover out there, who will be able to see beyond her scars and will offer this beautiful and special hound a loving home....
