NEVER SIT BACK IN YOUR SETBACK Sometimes in life, it seems as if the world around us is coming to an end, as if there’s no hope for the future. What are we to do when the vicissitudes and calamities of human life surround us? Remember that three Hebrew men once encountered a fiery furnace. They never backed down, never gave in or gave up because they saw that as the fire got hotter, they got closer to their breakthrough. What is your fire? Never for a moment allow yourself to sit back in your setback and wallow in your self-pity. Do not allow that situation to rule you, weaken you or dim the eyes of your faith. The eyes of the body cannot see beyond facts. It takes the eyes of faith to have a special insight into revealed truth. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego first saw flames that could destroy but the opening of the eyes of their faith was the silencing of those fears. They closed their eyes to all things in this world and opened them in a world of glory. You are welcome to God’s world of glory today, the arena of liberty! Prayer: Lord Jesus, open the eyes of my faith that I may fear no more, worry no more, cry no more, in Jesus’ name.
