Medical Massage Class (Mod 1 & 2) 12 Ceu’s May 24th & 25th (8am-3pm) (Mod 1) Introduction to Medical Massage & Accepting Insurance (Mod 2) Massage for People With Disabilities (Module 2- Migraines, TMJ, Fibromyalgia, and upper body structural problems) Class cost= $230 Medical Massage Class (Mod 3) 12 Ceu’s May 31st & June 1st (8am-3pm) (MOD3) Massage for People With Disabilities (Module 3- Lower body structural problems, Amputee and Stroke Patient Massage & “Pointer Plus” Electro- stimulation device training, and more) Class cost= $250 Advanced Stretching for your Patients June 14 (8am – 3pm) 6 Ceu’s You will learn some Active & isolated stretching that can be used on your clients during sessions. As well as stretches that Can be given to the client at the same time staying within the scope of massage. Class cost= $90 Amputee Massage (Ampussage) 12 Ceu’s July 19 &20 (8am – 3pm) You will learn to perform a full session of “Ampussage” using different techniques and tools. Some of the tools used in this class include mirror therapy, bolstering, and E-Pen stimulation for nerve endings. You will learn the techniques and do’s and don’t’s of massaging an Amputee. All the techniques and effects, results of this amputee training was done here at Alpha in 2011 as a study group. “Phantom Pain” can and will be released with 2 sessions.
