NEW ANIME! Mild Spoilers: Psycho-Pass 2 So Psycho-Pass got a second season and I am freaking!! Psycho-Pass deals with a future society where peoples emotions are measured inside a psycho-pass by the Sybil system. This system determines, through the use of hues and a cymatic scan, who will become a criminal and who is not based on their emotions, mental state, and personality. It reminds me a lot of Minority Report, so think of it in that sense. In this new season we pick back up one year from the ending of season one. Not a lot happened in this first episode just your regular introduction/explaining of how everything works. I am sure you can start watching it without knowing anything prior but I am pretty sure it wont be an easy ride for too long to new watchers after seeing the first opening (posted below). There are a lot of foreshadowing scenes going on that viewers of the first season can easily pick up on, I am specially excited for the return of Kogami... Actually at the end of the first episode it is strongly suggested that he will return. Anyway, P-P does not disappoint! I mainly started watching because the animation looked so goddamn good! Having electric blue and grey/black hues be more prevalent, dominant, and uniform through out the series really puts a staple on the overall look. Besides when there is blood it makes it more striking to see since the color red is rarely used at all. Even after changing studios the animation doesnt suffer much, something that usually happens when an anime is shoved into another production team. I am really excited to see more of this anime!! You can find the first season on Netflix right now and the second season is being simulcasted in the Funimation website every Friday!
