NEW CLASS TONIGHT @ 6:30 PM!!! Looking for more than just asana? Here is your chance to take your practice beyond the asanas, and move towards a more balanced, and beneficial PRACTICE. ASANA EASE AWARENESS with Jill Schaar starts tonight, and will meet on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM. This class combines intermediate/advanced asana sequences with the practice of yoga nidra based on the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra. Yoga nidra is a sleep-based, facilitated meditation experience that employs breathing and body relaxation techniques designed to naturally encourage the body to enter the deepest states of conscious relaxation. Emerge physically refreshed, mentally clear, and centered through this complete practice from Asana to Ease to Awareness! About Jill Schaar, CYT, RYT-200: First introduced to yoga by receiving six weeks of yoga classes as a birthday present, Jill recognizes and appreciates yoga as a special gift that she is privileged to offer with each practice. Jills gratitude, knowledgeable artistry, humor, magnetic energy, and creative presentations infuse, inform and inspire her classes. She received her 200-hour teaching certification from her dear teachers and friends Raye Lynn Rath and Becky Jordan of Sacred Art Yoga in 2009. Jill is inspired by spiritual teachers such as Mara Ra and Reiki Master Virginia Meyers Bowen, Professor Douglas Brooks, and Yogi Amrit Desai (Gurudev). She has studied with John Friend, Cat McCarthy, Christina Sell, Lex Gillan, Doug Keller, Yannis, and various teachers at the respective Kripalu and Amrit Institutes. In 2014, Jill earned her teaching certification in the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra from a team of amazing instructors, led by Kamini Desai, at the Amrit Institute. In her daily roles as lawyer, musician, yogini, wife, mother, and spiritual seeker, Jill believes that the yoga of life is an adventure of love, light, laughter, and learning.
