NEW CURRICULUM This is to notify students under NAAS that some courses have been changed in our curriculum and hence a change in course registration process. The units of courses to be registered cannot exceed 24units. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING YOUR COURSE Core/Compulsory course must be taken and passed before any student can graduate in any degree programme. ELECTIVE The courses are designed and left for students to choose to make up their work load or degree requirement. It may be from your field or outside but should be relevant to your programme. PRE-REQUISITE A pre-requisite course is one which must be taken and passed before you can be allowed for another course e.g. you must pass ANP101 before registering ANP201. Minimum work load is 16 units while maximum work load is 24 units. 100L Register all the courses both 1st and 2nd semester 200L After registering for 1st semester courses AEFM and AGAD would choose AEM 203 as their option. AEIS and ARDS would choose ARD 201 as their option. Department of Agric. Extension and innovative studies (AEIS) Department of Agric. and Rural development studies (ARDS) HRT will choose ABE 223 as their option All departments in COLPLANT and COLANIM would choose PRS 201 as their option. 2ND SEMESTER Register all the courses 300L (1st Semester) After registering all the Courses, you will register one of Applied Statistics Course, Entrepreneurial skill Course and one Elective Course. Applied Statistics Course (Register base on your College) COLAMRUD: AEM 311 (Applied Economics and Social Statistics) COLANIM: ABG 311 (Applied statistics and animal experimentation) COLPLANT: PBS 311 (Applied Statistics and field experimentation) Entrepreneurial Skill Course (Register base on your College) COLAMRUD: Entrepreneurial Skills in Agribusiness management (AER 303) COLANIM: Entrepreneurial Skills in Animal Agriculture (ANS 303) COLPLANT: Entrepreneurial Skills in Crop Production (CPS 303) Elective Course (You can choose from of these courses) AEM 303: Applied Mathematics for Economics and Social Science ANN 303: Principles of Animal Nutrition WMA 403: Principle of irrigation 300L (2nd Semester) After Registering the Core Courses Register for one relevant computer Application course and two elective course preferably from your department By Horlarwyse NAAS P.R.O ----------------------------------------------------- Course Registration For Freshers: All 100 Level Agric and Non Agricultural Students, your course registration usually starts after ICT Training. When Registering your Courses, please note that all the Courses youll be doing would have be Listed for you Automatically when you Log in, all you just have to do is to Mark all the Courses both for 1st and 2nd Semester, click Submit and Print.
