NEW FACULTY OF ART BUILDING: MATTERS ARISING ========================== Good Day fellow students of CASS. I would like to bring to your notice, the state of the Faculty of Art building project. We must first put on record, that the building has actually delayed beyond its stipulated time of completion because of funding challenges, which is supposed to be taken care of by the GETFund. However, due to the fierceness of the urgency of time, the College has managed to raise funds from internal sources to ensure that the building sees the light of the next academic semester for subsequent reimbursement by the Trust. The 1st Phase of the Project which consists of interior works and painting is expected to be completed by July ending. This will make the place available for use by students for LECTURES cime next semester whilst works continue on the landscaping and beautification concurrently. However the 2nd Phase which comprises the construction of Large-size ultra modern Art Studios and Sheds will be carried out at a latter date which means that practical works will continue at the old site. Procurement processes are already underway for the supply of office and classroom furniture to enhance teaching and learning confort at the new site. We believe the movement of our Art Students there will help lend a lasting solution to the chronci transport problem our Business students face.
