NAPA Play has been a very powerful tool for us to bring instant gratification to league members. NAPA is revolutionizing pool league to be more efficient and satisfying. Captains are going to LOVE the new payment system for players, as theyll not have to remember to collect players league dues or cover league dues for a player that may have forgotten to pay. Players will purchase match credits via a credit/debit card, prepaid debit/ credit card, or their PayPal account at napaleagues. These credits will automatically be deducted every time a player plays a match. Player credits will be displayed on their standings pages, and also in the NAPA Play Live Scoring. If a player has no credits available, they will have to purchase credits before theyll be able to be selected in the NAPA Play live scoring. To avoid complications, players will not be able to purchase 1 credit at a time. The minimum credits that have to be purchased will be 5. Captains can also assist players on a team that may not have the adequate means to purchase credits online, and should accept cash from the player and use his/her credit card or paypal account to purchase them. HOWEVER! It is not the responsibility of the Captain to do this if a player chooses that they just dont want to do it. It is encouraged for every player to manage their own player credits. Starting June 1st 2014, the only way to pay for your matches, will be through player credits. No cash or checks will be accepted in the future. Player credits can be refunded in special circumstances, however they will not be refunded on a session to session basis. For example: A player plays the Summer Session and has 2 match credits left, then takes the Fall Session off, to resume play in the Spring Session. Those 2 match credits will be still valid for the Spring Session. At this time there is no expiration of match credits for any NAPA player, however, if abuse of the credit system is observed, future regulations and expiration parameters of a players match credits could be imposed for a length of inactivity in the league. Match credits at this time cannot be transferred to another territory, however, a refund can be issued to a player, and will be able to repurchase credits to play in another territory, provided that territory uses the player match credit system. Also at this time, player session cash payout awards can not be transferred for match play credits, though we plan to have this option available in the future. Session Payouts will still be in Cash to teams at the designated Mini-Cup playoff location. This procedure is located at the napaohio website in the Local FAQ section.
