NEW FIRE TO REPORT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA This is called the Oregon Fire and it is west of Redding along Highway 299 right on the edge of Weaverville. Here is what I have from Cal Fire...... CAL FIRE Update: The fire is now 300 acres. Fire is burning to the north of the town with evacs in the area of Weaver Bally Loop & Victory Lane. Highway 299 is closed and will be until further notice. This will cause major travel disruptions between Redding, Eureka and the Northern California Coastal area.
