NEW FOOTPATHS in TULLOW, CARLOW and TICKNOCK Carlow Municipal District Council adopted Phase 1 of a programme of new footpaths funded by €125,000 development levies at our meeting yesterday: TULLOW (i) footpath to connect Rathsillan with Tullow - 150 metres costing €22,000 (ii) footpath to connect the GAA grounds with Tull-w - 170 metres costing €31,400 (iii) footpath to connect Mount Wolseley with Tullow - 290 metres costing €33,500 CARLOW (i) footpath and pedestrian crossing at the Educate Together school costing €26,000 TICKNOCK (i) footpath at Ticknock School with some minor drainage works costing €12,000 I will continue to push for the inclusion of other towns and villages in Phase 2 in the coming months, particularly the new footpath at HACKETSTOWN from the bridge back to town.
