NEW HAVEN DOWNTOWN CROSSING CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS Nov 25 thru Nov 27 No construction on Nov 28 because of Thanksgiving. Enjoy the holiday and stay safe! DAYTIME IMPACTS - 9AM - 3 PM MLK Blvd, Church St, George St, Orange St, State St Single lane closures may occur to facilitate traffic signal installation. College St Bridge Installation of the tunnel system between the College St Bridge and the Air Rights Garage continues. Construction on the west side of College St Bridge is anticipated to be completed on Nov 26. Traffic will shift back to the west side and construction will begin on the east side. The east side of College St Bridge will be closed on Nov 26 to facilitate construction. Expect delays and seek alternative routes during the traffic switch. Intersections of College St/MLK Blvd; Temple St/MLK Blvd; Church St/MLK Blvd; Orange St/MLK Blvd; George St/Church St; George St/Orange St; and George St/State St Single lane closure at intersections for installation of new traffic signals. CONTINUOUS IMPACTS - 24/7 College St Double lane closure on the west side of College St Bridge expected until Nov 26. Double lane closure on the east side of College St Bridge expected after Nov 26 PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS - 24/7 College St Sidewalk closure on west side of College St Bridge until Nov 26. Pedestrian access will be limited to east side of College St Bridge. Sidewalk closure on east side of College St Bridge after Nov 26. Pedestrian access will be limited to west side of college St bridge. Orange St Sidewalk closure on the east side of Orange St, between George St and N. Frontage Rd. Pedestrian access limited to the west side of Orange St Church St Sidewalk closure on the west side of the Church St Bridge.
