NEW INDIE BOOKS THIS WEEK: BORDERLANDS, GONERS, LUMBERJANES AND MORE! First up Borderlands: Fall of Fyrestone #5, from IDW Publishing. Its written by Mike Neumann, with art by Agustin Padilla. The Vault Hunters have narrowly escaped Nine Toes and find themselves lost and unable to find the fabled Vault. Dont forget Lumberjanes #9, from Boom Studios. Its written by Shannon Watters, with art by Keiko Tobe, and features a cover by Chynna Clugston. In order to earn the coveted Gimme Smore badge, the Lumberjanes set out on a backpacking trip in the deep, dark woods. But the woods arent so scary anymore, now that the Lumberjanes have kicked, punched, and befriended all the fearsome magical monsters out there, so they set out to find the one thing that can still scare them all: campfire stories! Last but not least is Rumble #1, from Image comics. Its written by John Arcudi, with art by James Harren. Okay, so a scarecrow walks into a bar...and proceeds to wreak havoc across two worlds!
