My daddy was a Shriner for 52 years, and his example of a mans true goodness motivated me to be a Shriner! Ive funded many projects, especially, tens of thousands of dollars for Special Bikes for Special Kids at Shriners Chicago Hospital. Now, Shriners Chicago Hospital has a new need - a new entertainment system for Shriners kids in the hospital - and MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies have a new record! I decided to use our new record to fill the Hospitals new need! Darlene Kelly, Director, Recreation Therapy and Child Life at Shriners Chicago Hospital said, One big project we are working on currently is a new entertainment system in the hospital. We need to purchase a new satellite system as well as upgrade our televisions in the patients rooms as treatment rooms. They will be used for patients recovering from surgery, provide for entertainment during down times, distract them from difficult procedures, and so much more. Our system now is old and out of date. The televisions we need in the rooms need to be hospital grade so they are more expensive. This project can run thousands and thousands of dollars. We are in the process of researching what exactly we want and have approval to carry it out but we just need the funds to do it once we have made our final decision. Its a huge job but if you were willing to assist us with funding this it would help so much. SO, lets help SO MUCH!
