NEW OPEN POSITION: Vehicle Fleet Coordinator/Manager Reporting Supervisor: Operations Manager Specific Responsibilities: • Review all vehicle logs daily to ensure logs are complete and correspond to odometer, sign each logbook at the end of the day to show proof of review; report any discrepancies to the Operations Manager • Ensure drivers are maintaining clean and fully operational vehicles • Ensure vehicles are current with all necessary paperwork and stickers required by the Government of Haiti • Serve as the point of contact for all vehicle related matters, lead in the reporting of accidents and vehicle incidents as well as maintaining all records of vehicle incidents and accidents • Liaise with the Operations Assistant to be aware of all logistics matters o Track vehicle locations via GPS to ensure vehicles are following approved logistics plans o Ensure vehicle tracking board is up to date and track storage of vehicles at during non-working hours • Liaise with the Finance Officer for all issues related to vehicle repairs and costs as well as needed fuel vouchers • Coordinate with the drivers for any and all repairs/maintenance related to the vehicles Qualifications • 2+ years’ experience in logistics or fleet management • Strong organization and attention to detail, ability to maintain good records • Strong knowledge of Xcel, ability to do simple math calculations • Strong communication skills—ability to work with a team • Positive attitude and strong work eithic Preferred • Knowledge of USAID and USG policies re: vehicles • Prior experience working on USAID or USG projects • Previous experience working as a mechanic or mechanical knowledge of vehicles
