NEW PROJECT: Tentakel P. drumming for OGRISH Ladies and gentlemen, I still owe you an explanation what I was doing in Poland last weekend. Well, here we go - I recorded drums for the upcoming album of OGRISH from Poland. There are those of you who regret (me included) that there never has been a follow-up release to ENMERKARs Starlit Path from 2009 where I contributed the drum parts. Then, a few months ago, I was contacted by this polish band if I would give their songs a listen and tell them my opinion. And from the very first moment I was equally enchanted by the dense, otherworldly atmosphere ENMERKAR offered me back then. Of course this is something different in its own right, but the musical approach is close. One thing led to another and finally I found myself in the plane to Gdansk recording what will soon become an album - something haunting, blasting, with the occassional jazzy groove. I had a challenging, but great weekend! For now, check their page, like, SHARE. Recordings are still in progress but as soon as we have everything, samples will follow.
