NEW RULE: I will no longer be friends with people who cannot accept and respect me for who I am, what I believe, and how I think. I have never nor would I ever try to change someone elses beliefs to mirror my own, nor have or would I ever tell somewhat that theyre bad because they think or act differently. The lack of reciprocated respect has never bothered me before; people are harsh, I know that. You CANNOT expect respect just because you give it. I know that. But Im tired of feeling bad about myself and doubting the few things about myself that I have ANY respect for because someone that I hold in regard doesnt want to see things differently, and doesnt want me to, either. From here on out, Im living by the rule that I should be myself because the people who matter dont mind, and the people who do mind dont matter. If you cant respect and love me for me - ALL OF ME, you dont matter. Period.
