NEW(S) POTATO - Root Vegetable Causing Issues. Potatoes are causing a stir in the news lately. McCains took a bit of a roasting by submitting plans for wanting a new outflow pipe at Cornelian Bay to replace the one that constantly chips and ruptures. Surfers and fishermen are opposed to McCains wanting fish and chips to live in harmony both on and off the plate. Then in other spud news, a lorry lost part of its load of instant mash after overturning near Whitwell Hill. The wet road caused the mash to swell up. Police tweeted Emergency services are utilising various methods to clear - gravy, bangers, forks making them the heros of the week. With delays of up to 6 hours, some people caught up in the tailback became angry and if it was upto me I would of sent them along the closed road that had already made some spin out so that when they spin out I could tell them that, thats the reason we close the road. What do these people expect really? To clear the road and actually make it safe will take as long as it takes. Ok its a little frustrating but is it worth the risk really? You have the option to turn around so go. A road in Oxfordshire had to be closed for similar reasons. So much potato news. Its like an uprising or uprooting. Thats how it starch you know.
