NEW Squat PR 455lb x 3 Reps (+10lb PR) Bodyweight 185lb. Previous PR was 445lb x 3 8 weeks ago. Felt wayyy better this time. I have to credit frequent heavy front squats (thanks Couch @jeremyhamiltonswife for the suggestion), mobility work (including @marksmellybells hip circle which really helped my glute med and hip pain) and the encouragement of my favourite Vegan, Cpt. Planet @veganpowerlifting for making this a breeze. Quick notes because I know there will be questions. 1. Yes I find wrist wraps absolutely reduce wrist pain for low bar (for me) 2. I find the Slingshot knee sleeves to be very comparable to the rehbands, I prefer them slightly (less expensive and it comes in purple) 3. My headphones were not included when calculating the weight lifted. Id need to add an extra 20lb if I did that.
