NEW UPDATE ON “LOWER BACK PAIN” Ok, I gave in last night and had Stephanie (the wife) take me to the E.R. because the pain became unbearable. After a 3 hour wait, we saw the doc and he found that my “Sacroiliac Joint” (SI joint) is inflamed. The sacroiliac joint (SI Joint) is generally accepted as an anatomic structure within the lumbar complex that if injured can be a cause of lower back pain. Mechanical dysfunction, inflammation, infection, trauma, and degeneration all have been attributed to the SI Joint. TREATMENT: Injection in my right BUM check :(. RESULTS: Feeling much better this morning (y) :). ORDER: Bed rest and see PC for follow-up. I will be seeing my PC this evening for a follow-up from the E.R.
