Job Role Key Objectives and duties: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations from customer enquiries Be able to accurately read and work from engineering drawings Have an eye for detail and be aware of the company’s tolerances etc. Have an engineering background and knowledge of subcontracting procedure Good telephone manner and be a good communicator To be helpful and work well within the sales team Criteria It is essential that you have previous experience as a Sales Estimator working with metals in an engineering environment, previous experience of offshore and renewable energy is desirable. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and a competent user of Microsoft office. A helpful and friendly approach to working with customers and colleagues, and being a team worker is key to this role. This role may involve travelling to customer sites to discuss drawings.
