NEW VIDEO!!!! Robert Brawley speaking at Widen I 77 last night, ... I stood up on the floor one day and gave a speech against Toll Roads, I didnt know the Speaker was a champion of Toll Roads. The Speaker called me into his office and the end result of that was he asked for my resignation as Finance Chairman. From that point forward I had not been assigned any committee assignments... then in the spring he recruited someone to run against me, they spent 180,000 dollars in this district, in the last election there were 3 of us and we didnt spend 60 thousand combined, no one knew what my opponent stood for.... this negative campaign held voting numbers down, they spent 180,000 dollars but I dont think it was the money that did it. A week before the election, Thom Tillis had the caucus send a letter to our newspaper saying Robert Brawley can not get along with the leadership and we are going to kick him out of the caucus. Answering a question about if voting for a write in will help stop the tolls Rep. Brawley then said, ... if there was a ground swell of support for John Rhodes in this election I think that would probably stop the Toll Roads in two weeks. Vallee Bubak and Rob Kidwell also voiced serious concerns about the Speakers involvement with the toll roads. Please share this video and support these brave civil servants.
