Dead Leaves is a song about how life pulls us away from the happiness that lies in simple things and throws us in its twists and twirls, forcing us to leave people behind, in short, how sometimes it just doesnt allow us enough time to be happy. Or, that is what I thought it to be about. I was surprised to hear Andys interpretation, which is quite different. But whatever it means to you, if it means something, that is good.
