NEWS FLASH. A report just came in that says that Typhoon Glenda destroyed or damaged many roofs of the houses in Barrio Bibingcahan, the biggest barangay in the City of Sorsogon and in the Province of Sorsogon, Damaged also (& roofless) is our old ancestral house in the Cogon District of Barrio Bibingcahan (spelled also as Bibincahan -- without the g). It appears that Typhoon Glenda did more property damage than super-typhoon Sisang, w/c hit Sorsogon in November 1987. There are now reports trickling in on the number of deaths &/or injuries suffered from Typhoon Glenda.
