NEWS FROM BELLA AKA COTTONPATCH: With everything that happened lately, I totally forgot to post this: On Sept 5, it was COTTONPATCHs first birthday. Sabrina and I wish you a very happy belated barkday, sweet baby! We are so proud of you... beyond words! We are thrilled that you are doing so well and that you have such pawsome parents! Bonjour maman Linda, I hope all is going well with you and my extended family. I have been following all the happy and sad news on Facebook. I am being weaned off my puppy food starting today which is great as the new food will not have any stinky Salmon in it and that is because today is ... wait for it .. my first BIRTHDAY! YAY and it is all thanks to you so I wanted to send you a BIG THANK YOU, many kisses and some of my news and pictures. I love my family that you picked for me. They spoil me and take very good care of me. They always tell me how cute and how smart I am. They are glad that I have “Poodle” intelligence Winking smile I am now even sporting a poodle cut that dad gave me himself! I am a healthy 6.5 lbs. and doing very well. I am Obamacare compliant with my own Health Insurance. With some assistance from my parents, and my awesome yellow rubber booties that protect my nails, I am walking better than ever, I make it up and down stairs, stand on all fours and even pace around unaided. I go on walks 3 times a day and love to chase those pesky squirrels and to stalk birdies. When I find a feather on the ground, I grab it and walk around with it in my mouth like a trophy Smile I am house broken but have some accidents due to the fact that I cannot feel nor control number 2 Sad smile. We overcome that by going on walks at scheduled times when I am due to have a bowel movement. I sleep cuddled up with my dad every night and I love to nuzzle in under his arm. I am glad he uses deodorant Smile I play and chase my brother Coco and race him on our walks. I like to chomp on his ear when I catch up to him! All his beds and toys are officially mine now Winking smile We go to the dog park everyday and we have some friends there. They renovated the dog park and it now has this nice artificial turf that I can run on unassisted just like the carpet at home. I got to meet the grandparents this summer and my human cousin Criss who really loved me and wanted to take me back with him! Please give my love to all. XXX Bella (Cottonpatch)
