NEWS FROM THAMES VALLEY POLICE: APPEAL FOR WITNESSES AFTER CASH STOLEN IN CAFE BURGLARY - BANBURY Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Banbury. The burglary took place at about 10.00am last Tuesday in Tasty Bites, which is within the bus station in Castle Street. A man entered the cafe, leant over the counter and stole a red tin containing cash. He then left the cafe on foot in the direction of the bus station’s vehicle exit. The offender is white, about 5ft 9ins, and slim. He was wearing a dark beanie hat and a cream, hip-length jacket. Anyone with information about this incident should contact investigating officer PC Elizabeth Leach, of Banbury police station, via the 24-hour enquiry line 101. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
