~~ NEWS ~~ Ghibli Documentary Kingdom of Dreams & Madness Gets Subtitles The official Twitter account for Studio Ghiblis international arm noted on Wednesday that the staff is working on subtitles for Yume to Kyōki no Ōkoku (The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness), the upcoming documentary about the acclaimed anime studio. Director Mami Sunada (Ending Note: Death of a Japanese Salaryman) followed Ghibli director Hayao Miyazaki as he worked on the Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) film, director Isao Takahata as he worked on the film Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), and producer Toshio Suzuki as he worked on both projects. Sunada explained why she put the word Madness in the title of the film: I think that having a dream entails having a bit of madness, no matter what the profession. There are times when you will go to extremes, and times when you are feared by others for that. The documentary will open in Japanese theaters on November 16. The Wind Rises is playing now in Japan and will open in North America on February 21. The Tale of Princess Kaguya will open in Japan on November 23. Source: animenewsnetwork ~Mika
