NEWS: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been told by Borussia Dortmund he is now free to leave the club, with the player thinking of switching the Bundesliga for the Premier League. Indeed, Chelsea and Newcastle have set their eyes on the 24-year-old striker for a quite a long time, with Mourinho having tried to persuade the player to move to Stamford Bridge already in May. The Special one was told that the French was not on the market but Borussia seem to have changed their mind, being unhappy with the player’s performance during last season despite him having made 41 appearances and scored 14 goals. The player moved to the German club from St.Etienne last summer, signing until 2018. According to the Express, his buy-back clause is believed to be of just over £6million and such a news has re-ignited Newcastle’s interest. After failing to sign Loic Remy permanently, Alan Pardew thinks Aubameyang might be the right man for the Magpies attack.
