NEWS RELEASE: An investigation into the sales and trafficking of crack cocaine into the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force to execute two separate search warrants on October 16th, 2014 in the afternoon which resulted in the arrest of six individuals. Members of the Jamestown Police SWAT Team made entry into 165 Barrett Avenue and took three individuals into custody. All three are being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree after approximately one ounce of crack cocaine was located inside the apartment that was packaged for sale. Subjects were identified as Ervin Mitchell, 31, Torry Knight, 46, and Rayquan Brooks, 18. SWAT Officers did then make entry into 108 Crescent Street and took three more individuals into custody after more than one ounce of crack cocaine was located inside the apartment. Charged in this entry were Ollie Alford, 32, Laura Dubois, 24, and Lawrence Gary, 45. All were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd. Alford and Gary were charged additionally with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th as both are convicted felons and a loaded rifle was also found inside the apartment. All were held awaiting arraignment in the city jail. Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force is made up of members from the Jamestown and Ellicott Police Departments.
