NEWS RELEASE November 18, 2014 On Saturday, November 15, 2014, at approximately 11:43pm, an officer on patrol observed a vehicle in the Wawa Parking Lot located at the Route 130 and Federal Streets that was being used by an individual known to be wanted for outstanding warrants stemming from a Shoplifting incident out of Burlington Township. In that incident, the wanted individual, identified as Ashley Giardinelli, ran from the scene when police officers were arriving. A motor vehicle stop was and a total of three arrests were made. During the stop, Ashley Giardinelli, Age 29, of Westampton, NJ, was found to have an amount of crack cocaine in her hand when officers approached the vehicle. The following individuals were arrested during the motor vehicle stop: -Ashley Giardinelli, Age 27, Westampton, NJ – Charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 1,000 Feet of School Property, and Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 Feet of a Public Housing Complex. Bail was set at $100,000 No 10% for the above charges. Ashley Giardinelli also had outstanding warrants out of Burlington City, Burlington Township, Westampton Township, and Bordentown Township. -Rhyman Hicks, Age 37, of Burlington City –Wanted on outstanding contempt warrants out of Burlington City and Eastampton Township. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $750.00 No 10% Bail. -Isaac Calderon, Age 26, of Burlington City – Wanted on outstanding contempt warrants out of Burlington City and Camden City. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $1,258 No 10% Bail.
