NEWS UPDATE AT 3PM WITH ORANGE Over 131 Bundibugyo, Kasese and Ntoroko districts massacre suspects have today taken plea at the general court martial over their alleged involvement in attacking security installations under tight Security at the Bundibugyo district headquarters. The court martial being presided over by Maj Gen Levy Karuhanga will have three men charged under the military law. The attacks left over 90 people dead. The hearing of the case in which Detective Ronald Poteli is accused of leaking spy tapes to the Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazis family, has failed to take off. This State Prosecutor fails to show up due to unavoidable circumstances. Buganda Road magistrate Lillian Buchana has adjourned the hearing of the case to July 30, 2014. Prosecution claims in March, 2014, while working at the Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Directorate in Kampala, Poteri leaked spy tapes of IGP Gen Kale Kayihuras interrogation of NRM officials involved in bribery, to Mbabazis wife, Jacqueline Mbabazi which was contrary to section 4(i) of the official secrets Act.
